It is with great sadness that we announce that Debi Moye Knight passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, on Thursday, February 15th, 2018 at the age of 62. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Mike, her children, Chris and Amber Haugen of Little Rock, Arkansas, Kyle and Lindsey Haugen of Edmond Oklahoma and her stepchildren, Megan and Broc Spradlin of San Juan Puerto Rico, Caleb and Jacklyn Knight of Conway, Gabriel and Ashley Knight of Greenbrier and Hannah and Grant Wilcox of Cabot, Kim and Greg Young of Searcy and Jeff and Alexandria Moye of Southaven, Miss. Deborah Elaine was born on January 21st, 1956 in Russellville, Ark., being the only sister among four brothers. She was a devoted mother to her two sons, doing whatever it took to make sure they knew they were deeply loved. She married her husband, Mike, in June of 2007. They shared a beautiful home, of which they put a lot of effort into remodeling, making it the perfect location for family get-togethers and small group meetings. Debi had a deep relationship with the Lord, trusting him in every circumstance, including her two previous battles with cancer, which she so bravely fought. Debi was full of life and her smile could light up a room. She had an uncanny ability to connect with people in a deep and positive way, being an endless source of encouragement, hospitality and counsel. Debi had a grace about her that made people want to "sit and stay a while". And all of her life, she longed for the day she would become a Meme. And what an amazing Meme she was. Debi will be greatly missed by her eight precious grandchildren, Knox and Ruby Haugen, Luke, Mia and Sallye Knight, Trent Dix, Jordan Moye, Samantha Dix, her brothers Danny (Renetta), Ronnie, Jim and Gary (Metza) and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends. Debi was preceded in death by her mother, Betty Edwards, her father, James Edwards and Jim Moye. A celebration of Debi's life will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, February 21st, 2018 at New Life Church in Conway, Ark. with Pastor Johnny Lewis officiating. Interment will follow in the family plot at Oak Grove Cemetery in Searcy. Those who so desire may make memorial donations in memory of Debi to the Arkansas Dream Center, 633 South Country Club Road in Conway.
