Amy L. Black

Amy L. DuVall Black, 50, of Little Rock, passed into Jesus's arms in Little Rock on February 16, 2018. She was born to Norman and Dolores (Wornock) DuVall of Little Rock on October 14, 1967. She was married to Gaylon Black September 30, 2004. Earning a BA in Psychology from UALR, Amy was a successful business owner, teacher and beloved housewife. Amy loved her Savior, family and friends and enjoyed the beach, skiing, and golf. A true and faithful believer in Jesus as her Lord and Savior, Amy was also a competitive, outspoken, strong-willed and confident woman who loved life. Amy touched many lives and will be missed greatly by all her aunts, uncles, cousins, relations and friends too numerous to mention. Amy is survived by husband, Gaylon Black, mother, Dolores Duvall, sister, Kelley Cumberledge, beloved nephew, Jordan Stills, stepson, Christopher Black and step-grandson, James C. Black. She was preceded in death by a brother, Darrell DuVall and father, Norman (Buck) DuVall. In Amy's honor a time of visitation will begin at 10:30 a.m. with a memorial service beginning at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 24, 2018 at Little Rock Church, 10701 W. Baseline Rd., Little Rock.
