Johnny Vincent Dollar

Johnny Vincent Dollar, age 62 of Sherwood, passed away, Tuesday, February 20, 2018. Johnny was born in Pine Bluff on February 2, 1956 to the late Arthur Lynn and Sallie Mae Dollar. Johnny was a 1974 graduate of Olympic College in Bremerton, Washington and proudly served his country with the United States Navy and then the United States Army National Guard from which he retired. Johnny also retired from the Pine Bluff Arsenal where he worked as Supervisory Equipment Specialist with Mobile and Powered Systems, Chem Bio. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Jerry Dollar, and sister, Judy Jones. Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Lisa, daughters; Janna Purifoy (Lucas) and Claire Caldwell, two grandchildren; Beau and Brynlee, and numerous other friends and family. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m., on Saturday, February 24 at Redfield Missionary Baptist Church, 500 Davis Ave, Redfield, Ark. 72132 with visitation beginning one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will immediately follow at Redfield Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be sent to Wounded Warrior Project P.O. Box 758517, Topeka, Kan. 66675-8517.
