Finis Ray Watson, 72, of Hindsville, passed away peacefully at his home, February 22, 2018. He was born January 16, 1946, in Hinton, Oklahoma. He was preceded in death by his parents, Randall and Velma Irene Watson; two brothers, Franklin Harold Watson, Fred Leroy Watson; three grandchildren, Katheryne Rozina Watson, Nathaniel Leroy Watson and Alexis Marie Watson. He is survived by his loving wife of over 50 years, Ina Lynch Watson; son and daughter-in-law, Steven and Amanda J. Watson of Hindsville; daughter and son-in-law, Teresa and Zane Vanderpool of Gravette; son and daughter-in-law, Finis Marshall and Amanda L. Watson of Hindsville; ten grandchildren, John Spencer, Landon Vanderpool, Dalton Vanderpool, Vanessa Watson, Steven Watson Jr., Arabella Watson, Finis Floyd Watson, Brad Watson, Peyton Watson, Tyler Watson and one on the way; one brother, Floyd Watson of Springdale, one sister, Marilyn Ritchie of Nashville, Arkansas, and many nieces and nephews, cousins and friends. Finis was a self-employed farmer for almost 45 years. He was an ordained Deacon since 1980 and a song leader for many decades. He loved singing and playing gospel music, fellowshipping with his church family and getting together with his family and friends. The family will receive friends Sunday, February 25, from 1:00 to 3 p.m. at the funeral home. Funeral Services will be 10 a.m. Monday, February 26, in the Bruce Brashears Chapel of Brashears Funeral Home. Interment will be at Colbaugh Cemetery at Hindsville. Arrangements are under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home and Crematory of Huntsville.
