Mary Louise Parker Lamb

MARY LOUISE PARKER LAMB, 94, passed away February 23, 2018. She was born in Conway, Ark., on August 19, 1923 to the late Robert Julius Parker and Louise Marie Riedmatten Parker. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Robert J. Parker and her husband of 69 years, Marion William Lamb. She is survived by her sister in law, Mary Alice Lamb Cole and JoAnn Lamb Smith (Buster). She is also survived by nieces and nephews Anita Lawhorn Schwenk (Bob), Marilyn Cole Watson (Johnny) Carolyn Cole Reed (Charles), David Cole, Paul Lamb (Cathy), William H. Lamb (Nancy), Susan Lamb Bell, James Lamb (Joyce), Debbie Smith (Charles), Marshall Smith (Karen), Donna Smith, Michelle Smith Elmore (Jeff). Mrs. Lamb was employed by the Conway School District for 40 years as Administrative Assistant to the Superintendent. After retirement she and her husband, Marion moved to Jacksonville where they resided until moving into a retirement home, Parkway Village in Little Rock. The family wished to thank Louise Denton, Karen Smith and Joyce Lamb for their faithful help in caring for Mary Louise these past few years. Funeral services will be held Monday, February 26, 2018 at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home at 11am, with visitation preceding the service from 10-11am.
