Mildred Jane Taylor

Jane Taylor, age 91, of Little Rock, passed into the arms of Jesus, Monday, February 19, 2018. She was born December 21, 1926 to Stella and Jack Schoemaker in Little Rock. In a card sent to her years later her Mom wrote to her "You were one of the nicest Christmas presents we received and a pretty one-a cute little bundle of joy". She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 57 years, James Taylor; brothers, Jack and Richard Schoemaker; sisters, LaRose Dobbs, Johnnie McKnight, and Marion Sciba. She is survived by her children, Debora Walker (Mike), Karen Unzicker (Dave), Sharon Smith (Dan), and Robert Taylor (Joanne); her 7 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews, and many friends. Visitation will be from 12 to 1 p.m. at Pinecrest Funeral Home, with a Graveside Service to follow at 2 p.m. at Oakland Cemetery. A reception will be held after the service in the community room at The Cottages of Otter Creek. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
