Sherry Lynn (Hansen) Berry

SHERRY LYNN (HANSEN) BERRY, 43, of Sherwood, passed away Friday, Jan. 5, 2018. Sherry was born on Nov. 27, 1974 to Paul J. Hansen, Jr. and Sandra (Houldridge) Hansen in Little Rock. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, E.O. "Ted" Houldridge. Sherry was a loved and gifted elementary music teacher. She taught for 17 years, including 14 years at Indian Hills Elementary. She loved and cherished her family, friends, fellow teachers and hundreds of students. Sherry is survived by her husband of 18 years, Jeffrey James Berry; son, Matthew Paul Berry; daughter, Megan Elizabeth Berry; her parents; brother, Todd Hansen (Carrie) of Little Rock; two sisters, Sarah Elliott (Zac) of Riverton, Utah, Hope Hansen-Martin (Ben) of Eagle Mountain, Utah; maternal grandmother, Mattie Sue "Mamaw" Houldridge; 18 nieces and nephews; and countless music students. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 10, 2018 at Roller-Owens Funeral Home, 5509 JFK Blvd, North Little Rock, Ark. Funeral services will be at 3 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 11, 2018 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 905 Kierre Dr, NLR, AR 72116, with burial to follow at Rest Hills Memorial Park in NLR.
