Cherry Lee Platt

Cherry L. Platt, 74, passed peacefully on January 9, 2018. She was born in Tillar, Ark., and served as a nurse at the V.A. Hospital in Little Rock for 25 years. She leaves three daughters; Suzette Armstrong, Tina Uzoigwe and Tracy Akins; one son, Demond Wilson; 4 siblings, Freddie, Leslie, Clora and Earl Platt; eight grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends. A celebration of her life will be held Wednesday, January 17, 2018, 12 noon. Interment: Haven of Rest Cemetery.
