Pierce Douglas Shannon

Pierce Douglas Shannon, 23, of Maumelle passed away Friday, January 5, 2018. He was born November 24, 1994 in Chandler, Arizona. He grew up in Maumelle and attended Maumelle High School. He then earned his Registered Dental Assistant license but always dreamed of joining the United States Army. Pierce was currently in training at Fort Jackson, South Carolina. He was a kind individual and had a great spirit about him. He will be missed. He is survived by his mother, Jill Ingram (Joseph); father, Thomas Shannon; sister, Anna Shannon; grandparents, Douglas and Rosalind Johnson; aunt, Tami Johnson; uncle, Patrick and Taya Johnson; and other extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Pierce and Marianna Shannon; aunt, Patricia Shannon and uncle, Michael Shannon. Memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, January 13, 2018 at Maumelle First United Methodist Church, 1201 Edgewood Drive. Arrangements by Smith – North Little Rock Funeral Home.
