Robert Frank Sparks

Robert Frank Sparks, age 89, of Little Rock passed away Thursday, January 11, 2018 at St. Vincent's Infirmary in Little Rock. He was born April 12, 1928 in Hope, Arkansas to the late John Stanley and Mary Ellis Sparks. Mr. Sparks graduated from Sheridan High School in 1946 and was an All-District football player. On August 6, 1951, he married Jeanette Soloman in Danielson, Connecticut. Mr. Sparks served in the United States Navy from 1950 to 1954. He was a member of Lorance Drive Church of Christ and of the Shower Trail Deer Club. Left to cherish his memory, wife, Jeanette Sparks of the home; daughter, Darlene (Larry) Williams of Little Rock; grandchildren, Mechelle (Tony) Mitchell of North Little Rock and Phillip Wade of Sacramento, California; great-grandchildren, Sarah Wade and Tyler Brown. Memorial services are 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at Lorance Drive Church of Christ in East End with Brother David Sweet officiating.
