Carolyn J. Echols

Carolyn J. Echols, 82, of Little Rock, Ark. passed away January 17, 2018 in Little Rock, Ark. She was born June 17, 1935 to the late Murel and Doris Ballentine Parker. She spent her years working in retail stores: Woolworth, Woolco, Fred's and later as a care giver. She is survived by two children: a daughter, Debbie Bitely; son, Calvin Echols; two grandsons, Christopher Bitely and Jamie Bitely; one granddaughter, Jennifer Echols; a great-grandson, Dakota Gray; a sister, Margaret Passalqua of California and a brother, James O. Parker of North Little Rock. Preceded in death by her husband, Eugene C. Echols and a brother, Jerry Parker of Little Rock. Our thanks to Good Shepherd Nursing Home, the nurses, and aides who helped take care of her while there. Funeral service: 11 a.m., Friday, January 19, 2018 at Roller-Drummond Funeral Home Chapel, 10900 Interstate 30, Little Rock, Ark.
