Catherine Coleman

Mrs. Catherine Coleman was born in Monticello, Arkansas November 11, 1914. She married to her late husband of 61 years, Earlee Coleman, at age 19. Her husband preceded her in death in 1994. Mrs. Coleman was also preceded in death by two sons, Azell Coleman and Wardell Coleman, and one grandson, Ronny Coleman. She is survived by her son, Roosevelt Coleman (Eleanor) of Little Rock, Ark., and her daughter in-law, Grace Coleman of Falls Church, Va.; her grandchildren, Ellen Scott of Manasas, Va., Debra Coleman of Baltimore, Md., Steve Coleman of Woodbridge, Va., Dellen Jones of Sacramento, Calif., Cassandra Coleman of Eldorado, Ark., Derrell Coleman (Della) of Dallas, Texas, Karen Coleman of Alexandria, Va., Dexter Coleman (Crist) of Grand Prairie, Texas, Lisa Coleman of Herndon, Va.; her great-grandchildren, Steven Newton of McKinney, Texas, Donald Watson of Chicago, Ill., Anthony Coleman of Little Elm, Texas, Alyssa Coleman of Glenn Heights, Texas, Adam Coleman of Dallas, Texas, Ashley Coleman of Dallas, Texas, Kristophier Tilmon of Grand Prairie, Texas, and Sidney Jones of Sacramento, Calif.; and one great-great-grandchild, Anthony Jones of Sacramento, Calif. In addition, she is survived by a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews and a host of loving family members. Services will be 11 a.m., Saturday, January 20, 2018, at Bethel AME Church.
