James E. Glenn

James E. Glenn, 89, died Thursday, January 18, 2018 at Unity Health Hospital in Searcy. He was born February 29, 1928 in Mt. View to the late William Isaac and Laura May Berry Glenn. He was a diesel mechanic, liked fishing, camping and playing music. He is survived by a beloved companion of 27 years, Clara Louise Larsen; two daughters, Connie Glenn of LaQuinta, California and Belinda Nelson (Bob) of Searcy; a son, James Glenn (Tammy) of Black Rock; raised five stepchildren, Larry Williams (Donna) of Imboden, Lana Cox (Donnie) of McRae, Joe Williams (Sandy) of Diaz, Landon Williams (Suzanna) Diaz, and Gene Williams (Donna) of Judsonia; a brother, Leonard Glenn; two sister, Geneva Evans and Belle Price; six grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Sunday from 6-8 p.m. at the Powell Funeral Home in Bald Knob. Graveside services will be 1 p.m., Monday, January 22, 2018 at the Rushing Cemetery in Mt. View.
