Angel Ann Munson

Angel Ann Munson, 20, of Springdale, Arkansas went to be with the Lord on January 26, 2018 in Springdale, Arkansas. She was born on July 10, 1997 in Little Rock, Arkansas to James R Munson Jr and Sheryl (Whitby) Theriault. Angel was a loving person who had a big heart. She had a gift of leadership that was noticed by everyone around her. She excelled in academics and was in the Gifted & Talented program in elementary school and middle school. She also excelled in athletics growing up as part of the Sherwood Sharks swim team. Angel would go on to attend school in Conway and Fayetteville High School. Angel was a loving mother, daughter, granddaughter, niece and cousin. She loved being a mother to her son Kenai, who will always cherish her in his heart. Angel also loved being in the outdoors, hiking in beautiful state parks, the arts, drawing and playing suspenseful Nancy Drew video games. Everyone saw Angel's leadership abilities. She was never shy or timid and people often saw the qualities in her that would make a great public servant in the world of politics. After a battle with Glioblastoma, Angel went to be with the Lord, but her memory and her dreams will live on through her friends and family. Angel is preceded in death by her grandfather "Pa", Albert Whitby. Left to cherish Angel's memory are her father, James R. Munson Jr. of Conway, Arkansas; her mother, Sheryl Theriault of Springdale, Arkansas; her son, Kenai Snape of Springdale, Arkansas; a half brother, James Munson Jr. III; and her grandmother, "Maw", May Bell Whitby of Brinkley, Arkansas; her aunts, Connie Whitby, Anita Whitby, Annette Whitby, Jennifer Silcox; and a host of cousins. The family will host a private Celebration of Life gathering at a later date. Please visit Angel's online memorial at www.WestfieldChapel.com.
