Donald Raymond Melzark

Donald Raymond Melzark, of Fayetteville, Arkansas, passed away on June 27, 2018, at age 92. He was born September 06, 1925, in Moose Lake, Minnesota, to Adam Joseph and Jennie (Mohelski) Melzark. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Jolene Melzark, two brothers, and four sisters. Don enjoyed baseball and fishing with his children. He spent most of his adult life in Napa, California, and moved to the Fayetteville area in 2009. He was involved in organizing the Rosary group at Morningside Assisted Living Facility in Fayetteville, where he had spent the last seven years of his life. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his children and grandchildren. Don is survived by his son, Mark Melzark of Fayetteville; daughter, Denise Yates and her husband Ken of Fayetteville; son, Michael Melzark and wife Tonya of Fayetteville; three grandchildren, Chris, Scott, and Blake; one great-grandchild Tegan; and many friends and loved ones. A visitation will be held Saturday, July 7, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Nelson-Berna Funeral Home in Fayetteville, with memorial service to follow.
