Dorothy J. Burks

Dorothy J. Burks, 61, of Little Rock was born to the union of the late James Wallace Sr. and Celestine Burks, passed away in the evening of June 28th, 2018 at CHI St. Vincent's surrounded by her loving family after a lengthy illness. She is survived by her only daughter, LaTonia P. Allen (Leon), three grandchildren: Andrea Dennis, Benjamin Allen and Braylon Allen; one great-grandson: Adrian Dickerson; three brothers: Larry, James (Regina) and Gregory Burks Sr.; five sisters: Ernestine Olive, Sandra Burks, Valerie Burks-Brown (Alonzo), Jackie Harris (James), Pamela Burks and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends. Celebration of Life for Dorothy Burks will be Saturday, July 7, 2018 at 1 p.m. Faith Temple Full Gospel Deliverance Center, 1920 Broadway Street, Little Rock with Rev. Donald Culverson Officiating by Paradise Funeral Home of Pine Bluff. Following the service Family and Friends will Gather at West Central Community Center at 8616 Colonel Glenn Road from 2:30-4:30 p.m. on Saturday. "Only Paradise Can Serve You Better!"
