Mary Carolyn "Cal" Yancey

Mary Carolyn "Cal" Yancey, 94, of Collierville, Tenn., formerly of Marianna, Ark., passed away Sunday, July 1, 2018, at Methodist Alliance Hospice Home in Memphis, Tenn. She was born in Lee County, Ark., on March 10, 1924, to Fountaine Level Holland and Vinnie Vester Farrar Holland. Cal was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, James William Yancey, and a son, James William "Bill" Yancey Jr. She is survived by her son, Charles E. Yancey (Mary Dell) of Collierville, Tenn., and a daughter-in-law, Judith Yancey, of Stuttgart, Ark.; six grandchildren, Leo Yancey (Lea), of Dallas, Texas, Katherine Yancey and Elizabeth Yancey Mulloy (Greg), both of Stuttgart, Ark., William Bruce Yancey (Margaret), Charles Holland Yancey (Lindsey), Frances D. Yancey Riddell (Wes), all of Collierville, Tenn. She also leaves behind 11 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. Graveside services will be held Monday, July 9, 2018, at 11 a.m., at Marianna Memorial Park Cemetery, in Marianna, Ark.
