Stanley, also known as "Papa Stanley", was described by his entire family as a teacher, mentor, spiritual leader, and friend to all. His stories and knowledge of life experiences and history graced each ear who heard them. In the words of his children, we are very blessed with brothers and sisters, nieces and nephews, and the unconditional love between each of us. The Lord has been so good to our family. Mom and Dad taught us right from wrong, pointed us to Jesus, and taken care of us. They provided for us in ways we are just now understanding. They instilled in us the wisdom to guide us through our own personal journeys. They led by example in the ways to live and die with the grace only found in Jesus. We are sad, but how can we want anything else? On-line guest book at www.ashbyfuneralhome.com.
