Mattie Wilder

Mattie Wilder, 71, of Little Rock, Ark., died Saturday, July 14, 2018 in a Little Rock local hospital. Ms. Wilder was born Nov. 24, 1946 in Foreman, Ark. to the late Aula Watson-Wilder and Matthew Wilder Sr. She attended public school and graduated from Unity High in Foreman in 1965. She continued her education at Philander Smith College in Little Rock. Upon graduation, she worked for UAMS Head Start Program. She also worked at St. Vincent Private Home Health Care. She was a member of Greater Paradise Mission Baptist Church, Little Rock. Survivors include: one son, Keith Wilder, Little Rock, Ark.; one sister, Dorothy Barr, Dayton, Ohio; four nephews; seven nieces; host of family and friends Services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, July 21, 2018 at St. Rest Baptist Church with Rev. Clevester Rolfe officiating. Burial will be in Piney Grove Cemetery under the direction of Hamburg Funeral Home. The body will lie in state on Saturday, July 21, 2018 from 10-11 a.m.
