Charles "Charlie" Patrick Hime, 46, of Combs, Arkansas, passed away July 20, 2018. He was born October 20, 1971 in Harrison, Arkansas to Arthur Hime and Brownie Sue McMillion Hime. Charlie was a United States Army veteran and served in Desert Storm. He volunteered with the Madison County Sheriff's Department and Fire Department. He was a diesel mechanic at the Tyson Truck Shop and CAT, worked with the Madison County Road Crew. Charlie was a tenderhearted, kind man who would give a helping hand to anyone, he never met a stranger. His smile lit up a room and lightened the mood of everyone around him. Charlie was a hard worker who had a passion for fixing vehicles, new and old. He was a devoted father who loved his children. Charlie wanted everyone to know that he loved his children more than life itself. "I love my children Katlyn, Jonathan, Susan and Sarah. That is what I want to be known for, I'm so blessed and happy that they are in my life." He is survived by his children, Katlyn Hime of Fayetteville, Jonathan Hime of Springdale, and Sarah and Susan Hime of Lowell; his parents, Arthur Hime of West Fork, and Brownie Sue Hime of Elkins; two brothers, Robert Hime of Elkins and Richard Hime of Saskatchewan, Canada. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, July 26th, 2018 at Beard's Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow in the Fayetteville National Cemetery.
