Judith Sutter (née Judith Ursula Gall) died peacefully in Little Rock, Arkansas on July 7, 2018. A funeral Mass will be held at Christ the King Catholic Church in Little Rock on Monday, July 30, 2018 at 10 a.m. Judy was born to Lucille White and William Gall in the midst of a raging snowstorm on December 11, 1939 in Chicago, Illinois, establishing her flair for the dramatic entrance early on. She moved to California in childhood, eventually settling in her beloved San Francisco where she attended Convent of the Sacred Heart High School and San Francisco College for Women. She married Nicholas Sutter there and started her family. She found herself in Arkansas in the early 1980s, but San Francisco never left her heart. Judy was a consummate storyteller, and she often shared her adventures with old and new friends. She never wanted to be seen without her signature red lipstick or in white after Labor Day. There was a twinkle in her eye that always let you know that she was up to something, but she was known most for her incredibly generous heart. She is preceded in death by her father, William Gall; her mother, Lucille Glover; her stepfather, Larry Glover; and her husband, Nicholas Sutter. She is survived by her daughter, Nicole Murphy; son-in-law, Patrick; and grandchildren, Brendan and Morgan of Little Rock. In lieu of flowers, memorials in her honor made to Hospice Home Care would be appreciated by her family. An online guestbook is available at www.griffinleggettresthills.com.
