Thelma G. Dean

Thelma G. Dean, 76, of Damascus, Ark. departed this life on Sunday, July 22, 2018. She was born on April 29, 1942 in Shoffner, AR to the late Nelson Moreland and Lisha Lee Clark. She is preceded in death by her husband, Major Dean; children Rita Dean, Jeff Dean, and Hirman Dean; and siblings Frank Moreland, Charles Moreland, Eudora Moreland Rhodes, Ollie Mae Moreland, Bobby Moreland, Emma Moreland and Emmitt Moreland. She is survived by her daughter, Leslie Diane (Patrick) Ealy of Damascus, Ark.; five grandchildren; five great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held 10:00 am, Saturday, July 28, 2018 at Solomon Groves Missionary Baptist Church, 273 Solomon Grove Rd, Twin Groves, AR. Visitation 1 p.m. – 6 p.m., Friday, July 27, 2018 at the funeral home. Interment Mt. Zion Cemetery in Shoffner, Ark. Services entrusted to Larry G.
