Rosie Lee

Rosie Lee, 78, of Dermott transitioned to her heavenly home on July 19, 2018. Our angel on earth became our angel in Heaven. She was born to Norman and Bernice Moore on October 2, 1939. She took pleasure in attending Sunday School and Church Services at Holland Chapel A.M.E. Church in Dermott, Ark. where she faithfully served as Stewardess. She will be remembered as a woman of peace and love who had a sweet smile and humble spirit. While working in the Food Service Department, she developed lifelong friendships at Morris Booker Memorial College and Dermott Area Agency on Aging. Rosie was predeceased by her parents, husband, Reverend Daniel Lee, daughter, Rochelle Dukes, grandson, Quentin Graham, sisters, Gladys Dixon and Thelma Marshall. She leaves to cherish her memory nine children, Daniel, Terence (Edna), Timothy, Rachel (Larry), Rene, Derwin, Remonia, Daktor (Jotis), and Theressa (fiancé Mike); two sisters, Erma (Otis) and Norma (Eli); 24 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins. A Celebration of Life will be Saturday, July 28, 2018 at Tabernacle Baptist Church, 1109 North School Street, Dermott, Ark. at 2 p.m. Interment will be Monday, July 30th at 12 noon, Veterans Affairs Cemetery, 1501 W. Maryland Avenue, Sherwood, Ark. Services entrusted to Dillard Funeral Home, Dermott, Ark.
