PATRICIA ANN GAYDON, of Little Rock, peacefully passed away the morning of Wednesday, May 30th, 2018. "Pat," as most called her, was 91. The daughter of Michael and Mary Murrin, Pat was born September 30th, 1926 in Moline, Ill., where she was raised with her nine brothers and sisters. She married James W. Gaydon in 1949 in Arkansas, where they lived the rest of their lives. He passed away in 2004. She is also preceded in death by her parents, as well as her siblings Rita Johnson, Matt Murrin, Barbara Murrin, Margaret Tomlinson, Michael Joseph Murrin, Jr., and Francis Murrin. Pat is survived by her beloved daughters Linda Gaydon, Judy Johnson (Danny); grandchildren Jeremy Johnson and Jessica Amis (Jacob); great-grandchildren Anna Johnson, Connor Johnson, and Oliver Amis; her siblings Paul Murrin (Carol), Betty Marco, and Kay Murrin; and numerous nieces and nephews. Pat retired from her career as a medical transcriptionist at age 62. She was very proud of her Irish and Belgium heritage, and she adored traveling; one of her favorite trips was visiting Ireland with her sisters. She also loved reading, doing puzzles, watching figure skating and golf, eating sweets, and spending time with her loved ones. She will be missed tremendously by her family, as well as her friends and neighbors at the Good Shepherd Community. Funeral services will be held Monday, June 4th, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Griffin Leggett Healey & Roth Funeral Home on 12th St. in Little Rock; burial will follow at Pinecrest Memorial Park.
