Leona Westman

Leona Westman, 78, of Bella Vista passed away May 29, 2018. She was born August 28, 1939 in Burnstad, N.D., to the late William and Amelia Will. Leona was also preceded by her husband, Roy Gordon Westman; 2 sisters, LaVina Mitzel and Lucy McDaniel and 4 brothers, Dave, Earl, Harley and Victor Will. Following graduation she attended college in Canada before joining Moody Bible Institute in Chicago. For many years she owned and operated a housecleaning business. She was a woman of great faith who loved the Lord, her Church and taking part in Mission Trips to Europe and Africa. She had a special place in her heart for Hope For La Gonave Mission in Haiti. Survivors include her sisters and brothers, Dyann McCrory, Laura Johnston, Harold Will and Arden Will (wife Carla) all of Montana; her step-daughter, Jennifer Canella (husband Robert); her step-son, Reese Westman (wife Adriene) all of Illinois; 3 step-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; her church family and many dear friends. Her Funeral will be at 10:30am today, June 4, 2018 in Trinity Grace Church, 5845 Bellview Road in Rogers. Interment will follow in Fayetteville National Cemetery.
