Robert Lee Skaggs

Robert Lee Skaggs (June 30, 1927-June 6, 2018): Professor Emeritus School of the Art Institute of Chicago, Elder First Presbyterian Church of Rogers, Ark., Graduate of Rogers High School Class of 1945, Navy Veteren, husband of Betty Jean Hale Skaggs, father of Roxanna, Jason, and Benton, grandfather of Jennifer, Kathrine, Jake, Samantha and Erica, great-grandfather of nine. Beloved son, brother, uncle, cousin, teacher and friend of many died peacefully in his sleep on the morning of Wednesday, June 6th. He asked us "to love and respect one another and to think of him walking in the woods with the birds and streams." The service celebrating his life will held in the sanctuary of First Presbyterian Church, Rogers, Ark., on Saturday, June 23rd at 4 pm. Reception to follow in the fellowship hall.
