Harold L. Gray, Morrilton, born in West Helena, Arkansas to Abby and Louis Gray on June 29, 1930. As a young child they moved to Morrilton, Arkansas his "Home Town". He made his trip home on June 16, 2018, after a long and interesting journey through life. He served twenty years in the U.S. Air Force, living in many great places, on retirement he and his family moved back to his "Home Town" to work twenty years with Southwestern Bell. Being an active member of the Church of the Nazarene where he served twenty five years on the Church Board, as well as Treasurer for many years, and volunteer "Handyman". He also proudly served many years with the Gideon's as treasurer, and enjoyed being a prior year State of Arkansas King of TOPS International. He and his wife Ann served as Devil Dog Band parents, also Volunteers at T.C. Vaughn Senior Center, Meals on Wheels was one of their special loves. He loved life and enjoyed many things with cruising being at the top of the list. He was preceded in death by his birth parents, adoptive parents, Opal and Hervey Ethridge, sister, Eloise Jones and brother in law, Tommy Ethridge. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Ann Ethridge Gray, son, Louis E. Gray (Rita), daughters, Deborah Padgett (Austin), Beverly Gray (Perry), son, Stephen Gray (Veronica), brothers, Charles B. Gray and Robert Gray, adopted by love, Mike and Rita Howell, nine grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, and five great great grandchildren. Memorial services will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, June 24, at Morrilton Church of the Nazarene. In place of flowers donations will be greatly appreciated at Conway County Care Center.
