Haven Ash

Haven M. Ash, 64, of Benton, passed away on June 20, 2018. He was born to Herman E. Ash and Ethyl May Ash-Dickens in Kanawha County, W.Va., on Dec. 1, 1953. Haven worked for Molex for 23 years. He was a hardworking, loving father and grandfather. He was preceded in death by his wife Mary, his parents, and sisters Linda and Rosie. Haven is survived by his daughters, Nona (husband Adam Pielet), Lanica (husband Michael Fischer), and Shae (husband Chris Skinner). He had a total of 17 grandchildren. He had been through poverty, abuse, neglect, addiction, but despite all this, he just wanted to make sure his daughters could all take care of themselves without him. I cannot think of a more giving, loving man & cannot imagine how thing are going to be without him. He will be forever missed for all of his lifetime achievements but really, more than anything, for who he really was. Private memorial services will be held at a later date.
