Shirley Ann Berry

Shirley Ann (Hubert) Berry, age 77, of Benton, passed away Saturday, June 22, 2018. She was born May 2, 1941 in East St. Louis, Illinois. She was a member of Benton First Assembly of God. Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Eva Hubert; sister, Linda Mackowiak; three infant sons; granddaughter, Presley Marie Haywood and the love of her life of 49 years, Gerald Berry. She is survived by her special daughter, Sherry Marie Haywood and husband Scott of Benton; the joy of her life & granddaughter, Jordan Rae Haywood of Benton; two sisters, Marcia (Kassing) Merchant and Donna Reynolds of Illinois; many special friends & other family members; also her best friend & companion, Annie. Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, June 27 at Ashby Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Thursday, June 28 at Benton First Assembly of God with burial at Pine Crest Memorial Park.
