Franklin Paul Sullivan, 80, of Little Rock, after a long battle with Parkinson's, went to be with the Lord June 25, 2018. He was born May 29, 1938 in Camden, Arkansas to Pierce and Hazel Sullivan. At age 12 he was baptized at the Willisville Church of Christ. Paul attended high school in Prescott, Arkansas, after high school he attended Harding College and later attended Abilene Christian College, in Texas, where he met his wife of 59 years, Sharon. Paul was an avid golfer and sports fan. He loved his golf buddies, they named themselves the Prune Juice Gang. Paul was preceded in death by his parents; his maternal grandparents; Tim and Tillis Dempsey, fraternal grandparents; Jack and Maggie Sullivan, mother and father-in-law; Dessie and Floyd Stelzer and dear friend; Dr. James F. Holleman. He is survived by his wife; Sharon Cogdill Sullivan, son; Philip M. Sullivan (Brenda), daughter; Michelle Sullivan Cooper (Ron), brother; Murray Sullivan (Pam), grandchildren; Landon, Tanner, Hayley and Haven, nephew; Jon Sullivan, nieces; Nanette, Tanya Tolander and Ashley Roberts (Andrew). A special appreciation to his loving caregivers, Paul loved and appreciated Trinnie Perz, Tammy Brooks, Roy Henderson and Princess Robinson. Thank you for bringing joy to Paul during this time. A visitation will be held Saturday, June 30, 2018 at noon in the chapel of Roller Chenal Funeral Home, 13801 Chenal Parkway, Little Rock, Arkansas with services starting at 1 p.m. Murray Sullivan (brother) will officiate. Entombment will follow at Riverwood Memorial Gardens in Maumelle. Pallbearers will be Larry Eubanks, Jon Sullivan, Ron Cooper, Jarrod Cooper, Steve Duke, Donald Barkman, Tim Duke will serve as an honorary pallbearer.
