Melanie A. Montgomery

Melanie A. Montgomery, 53, of Maumelle passed away on June 25, 2018. She was born in Salinas California on October 25, 1964 to Phyllis and Lloyd Defrese. Melanie loved to work in her garden and loved the time that she spent traveling with her husband Bill. Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Bill Montgomery; son, Hunter (Jami) Young; grandchildren, Brooks Young, Kyler McCraw, Grace McCraw, Braydon McCraw, Hunter Montgomery and Addison Montgomery; mother, Phyllis Defrese, brothers, Dennis (Wynell) Defrese and Steven Defrese; sister, Kimberly (Marty) Reese. A Memorial service celebrating Melanie's life will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, June 29th at Griffin Leggett Rest Hills Funeral Home, 7724 Landers Rd., NLR, Ark.
