Howard E. "Buddy" Lawrence

HOWARD E. "BUDDY" LAWRENCE was born in Mayflower Arkansas June 13, 1927 and died March 8, 2018 at 90 years of age at home in North Little Rock. Buddy served his Country as a Navy Seabee in WW II. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Myrtle Lawrence, his brothers Wendel, Kent and sister Beatrice. Survivors include his wife of 69 years, Reba, two daughters Karen Lawrence, Cindy Garner (Nathan) and son Jeff (Angela), and a host of brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews and nieces, 6 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and many friends and former employees. Buddy owned several businesses over the last 70 years, mostly trucking companies but his and Reba's most unusual business was opening "Buddy's Roller Rink" in Conway (1956). Buddy is now enjoying his eternal rest free from pain. Buddy grew up in the Church of Christ at Mayflower. A Memorial Service and Celebration of his life will be held at the Little Rock Funeral Home 8801 Knoedl Ct. Little Rock, AR (501) 224-2200 at 10:30 on Tuesday, March 13, 2018 (no Visitation). Following the Memorial Service, the family will meet for visitation and a meal at the Levy Church of Christ, 5124 Camp Robinson Ave., NLR, AR at 12:00 Noon.
