Charles Ray Calhoon

Charles "Chuck" Ray Calhoon, 75, of Little Rock, Arkansas passed from this life on March 18, 2018. He was born on August 23, 1942 in Hope, Arkansas to the late Lt. Col. Alvie Ray and Wanda Faye Calhoon. Chuck earned a purple heart in Vietnam and became a special agent of the FBI, assigned to offices in Miami, Savannah, New Orleans, New York, and Puerto Rico. He sailed to his second Puerto Rico assignment on his boat Lady from New Orleans to Fajardo, PR braving storms, sandbars, and the gloom of night on the open sea. Accomplished musician, sailor, and craftsman, his humor and heart will be missed. He is also preceded in death by his sister, Nancy Wallace. Chuck in survived by his best friend and wife of 40 years and three step-children Mary Katherine, John (Karen), and Melanie Fiala. A memorial service will be held at Trinity Presbyterian Church on Rahling Road at 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 7, 2018.
