Dorothy Ann Childers Cook

Dorothy Ann Childers Cook, 85, of North Little Rock, formerly from Camden, died March 21. She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred John and Ruby Dell Childers and a grandson Aaron Cook. She is survived by her devoted husband of 71 years, Rodney Gene Cook and their four sons, Gary, David, Mark and Randy. She is also survived by five grandchildren, John Cook, Brad Cook, Casey Lee, Jessica Muffley, Tessa Cook along with five great-grandchildren. Dorothy owned and operated Dorothy Cook's Beauty Shop, in Camden, for nearly 30 years. A brief graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, March 23 at Okolona Cemetery, Okolona Arkansas. The family wishes to express their gratitude to Kindred Hospice and to the dedicated staff of The Lakes at Maumelle for the outstanding loving care they provided Dorothy during her eight month stay.
