ALLEAN FREEMAN SHOCK, 82, of Sherwood passed away Friday March 23, 2018. She was born in North Little Rock, Arkansas on May 28th, 1935 to the late Samuel Andrew and Hamie Joslin Hatfield Freeman. Allean was employed by M.M. Cohn for 50 years in the Employee Relations Department before her retirement and was a life-long member of the Assembly of God faith. She was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years Wendell Shock, her brother Elbert Freeman, and her Mother, Hamie Joslin Hatfield Thompson. Allean was survived by her nieces and great-nieces and great-nephew that she raised as her own children; Cheryl Simmons (Stewart) of Warren, AR., Brenda Logsdon (Harry) of Alexander, Holly Reed (Chris) of White Hall, Jennifer Lindsey (Isaac) of Cabot, and Chris Roberson (Kala) of Mayflower; her sister, Nadine Tanner (Danny) of Alexander, and a host of great-great-nieces and nephews that will miss her. Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m., Friday, March 30th, 2018 at Smith-Sherwood Funeral Home, 7700 Hwy 107, with visitation on Thursday, March 29, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Burial will be in Marcus Hill Cemetery in Enola, AR.
