James (Jimmy) Lewis Ballard

James (Jimmy) Lewis Ballard was born December 26, 1968, in St. Louis, Mo., to James Carthel and Ertis Teddene (Jones) Ballard. Jimmy went to be with the Lord on Friday, March 23, 2018. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Lewis and Muriel (Kelley) Ballard, Ted and Emma Jones; his mother Teddene Ballard; stepmother Katherine Bise Ballard; and one brother, David Russell Ballard; and stepbrother Ron Bise. Jimmy is survived by his spouse, Shawn Burnett Finley and their children, Adam (Bailey) Cox and Brooke (William) Weaver; grandchildren Hayden, Tanner, Willow, Blain, Caiden, Charli, Lane and Braylon. He is also survived by his father, James Carthel Ballard; his brothers, Phillip (Margaret) Ballard, and Tony (Angie) Ballard; one sister, Angie Ballard (Dale) Gibbons; and one stepbrother, Robert Wayne Bise (Margaret). Jimmy is survived by six nephews and five nieces, eight great-nephews, 10 great-nieces, one great-great niece, one great-great nephew; and one more future great-nephew in July; and a whole host of aunts, uncles, cousins, family and friends. Visitation will begin at 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 27, 2018, at Open Arms Assembly of God, with funeral service to follow at 3 p.m. Interment will be in Sylvania Cemetery.
