Lynn Carol Tomlinson

Lynn Carol Tomlinson, 79, of Batesville died Sunday, April 29, 2018. She was born October 13, 1938 in St. Louis, Missouri to Walker N. and Eva (Yagie) Guthrie. She was retired from the Batesville School District having served as a teacher for 28 years. She was a member of the Campground United Methodist Church at Bethesda. She was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Don Tomlinson; one son, Jeff Tomlinson (Theresa); two daughters, Sandi Anderson (Tony) and Patti Clauss (Mike) all of Batesville; one brother, W. Phil Guthrie (Pat) of Bryant; one sister, Sharon Daniel (Charles) of Marshall; six grandchildren, Brian Hicks (Allison), Jordan Tomlinson (Amy), Jakki Crowley (David), Brandon Lee (Danielle), Evie Gowen (Andrew) and Sophie Clauss (Taran); three great grandchildren, Wesley Tomlinson, Maddie Hicks and Josie Hicks; two step-grandchildren; two step-great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. Private memorial services will be held at a later date. Arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service of Batesville.
