John R. Gregory

Mr. John R. Gregory, age 85, of Carlisle, Ark. passed away Monday, April 30, 2018 at C.H.I. St Vincent, Little Rock. John was born in Joplin, Mo. on Feb. 18, 1933 to Charles and Edna Gregory. He was a member of Carlisle First United Methodist Church, a veteran of the Korean War, a graduate of the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville and a Sigma Nu. He was employed for 47 years by Precision Mastermade Industries of Joplin, Mo. Mr. Gregory is pre-deceased by his parents, his daughter Sarah Hart and son-in-law Jed Powers. He is survived by wife, Nancy, daughters, Sally Gregory and Susan Powers, son-in-law Doug Hart, grandchildren, John Powers, Dinah Powers Scott (Chasity) Hart, Molly (Chase) Broyles, and his beloved great-granddaughter, Vanessa. The Gregory Family has requested in lieu of flowers, memorials in honor of John be made to Carlisle First United Methodist Church or Ovarian Cancer Research. Mr. Gregory will be cremated with burial in Carthage, Mo. at a later date.
