Mary Elizabeth Ford McGehee

Mary Elizabeth Ford McGehee, 97, of Cecil, Ark., died Tuesday, May 1, 2018 in Cecil. She was a homemaker, member of First Baptist Church of Ozark, and former board member at AVTI. She was born January 19, 1921 in Cecil, Ark., to CB and Linnie Wiggins Ford. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Fisher McGehee; and her parents; and a grandson, Kit Churchill. Mary is survived by two daughters, Barbara Griffin of Fort Smith, Ark., and Deborah West of Austin, Texas; two sons, Neil and Tom McGehee both of Ozark; and 13 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Family will visit with friends from 6-8 p.m., Friday, May 4, at Shaffer Funeral Home, 2315 W. Commercial Street in Ozark. Funeral service will be held beginning at 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 5, 2018, at First Baptist Church of Ozark, and burial at Berkley Cemetery in Cecil, Ark., under direction of Shaffer Funeral Home of Ozark. Serving as pallbearers are Clay Freeman; Spencer Churchill; Isaiah, John, and George McGehee; and Frank Hodge. Memorial contributions may be made to the Hannah House Inc.
