Maxine Drake

Maxine Drake, age 92, of Fayetteville, Ark., passed away Friday May 4, 2018. She was born Sept. 21, 1925 in Ozark, Ark., to John and Mary Forbus. She is a charter member of Rolling Hills Baptist Church in Fayetteville. Maxine was very active in the Fayetteville community and Washington County and devoted countless hours and time to numerous organizations over her lifetime. She served as President of Altrusa International, Fayetteville City Hospital Auxillary Board and the PTA for Jefferson Elementary. Maxine was preceded in death by her husband Jake Drake and grandson, Jeremiah Agee. Maxine is survived by her son, Charles Agee of Springdale; two grandchildren, Slader Agee and Mary Agee Harris; two great granddaughters, Tiffany Roten and Avalon Harris; one great-grandson Alucard Harris and one great great-grandchild, Avery Agee. Visitation will be 1–2 p.m., Tuesday May 8, 2018 at Moore's Chapel with the funeral service to follow beginning at 2 p.m. Burial will be in Fairview Memorial Gardens in Fayetteville under the direction of Moore's Chapel.
