Myron Thompson, 87, passed away peacefully, May 8, 2018, at Hospice Home Care in Little Rock, with his family by his side. He was predeceased by parents, E. Ford and Lila Mae Thompson, Spencer, North Carolina. Myron retired from the United States Air Force after faithfully serving twenty eight years of honorable service. Following his retirement from the military, he worked for the Arkansas Public Service Commission until his final retirement. He was a member of the Moose Lodge #942, a 32nd degree Mason and Shriner. He was an avid golfer, traveling many times out of state to play. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by brothers, Rene, Ryland, and Richard Thompson. He is survived by children, Michael De'Ath, Ciceley Thompson, Adrian Thompson, Elizabeth Mayfield (Phillip), Keith Thompson (Michele), Gail Clause (David), eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; June Thompson; one brother, Harold Thompson (Dorothy) of Columbia, South Carolina. The family would like to thank the staffs at Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock and Hospice Home Care Inpatient Center for the compassionate care given to their father. A graveside service honoring Myron will be on Saturday, May 12, 2018, at 2 p.m. at Rest Hills Memorial Park, 7724 Landers Road, North Little Rock.
