Norman Lee West

NORMAN LEE WEST, 77, of Jacksonville departed us May 9, 2018. Norman was born June 29, 1940 in Tillar to the late Norman Linzy and Mary West. He was a retired sub-contractor, U.S. Army veteran, avid lifelong golfer, and patriarch that cherished his grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his siblings James Owen, Earl, Christine, Lorraine, and Calvin. Norman is survived by his beloved wife of 59 years, Martha Hillman West; children, Norma West and Kevin (Renee) West; five grandchildren, Arthur Linzy, Kayla, Emma, Owen, and Ella West; and siblings, Robert (Janet) West, Roy West and Jo, Wanda (Jack) George, Larry West, Gary West, Ronnie West, Charles (Rhonda) West, Joe West, and Jerry (Connie) West. He was dearly loved will be truly missed. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at Moore's Cabot Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Petit Jean Mountain Cemetery in Oppelo.
