John Allen Due

John Allen Due, 91 of Benton, passed away on May 15, 2018. He was born on January 31, 1927 in Mansfield, Arkansas to the late John M. and Pearl Allen Due. John was a longtime member of The 1st United Methodist Church in Benton since 1940. He was a rural mail carrier for the United States Post Office and a longtime resident on Boone Road. John served during WWII with the United States Army. He was preceded in death by his parents and son, Jim Allen Due. John leaves to cherish his memory, wife of 70 years, Mary Due of Benton, sister, Dorothy King of Little Rock, daughter in law, Judy Due of Dallas and many special friends and family. Chapel services by Ashby Funeral Home will be 11 a.m. on Saturday with burial to follow at Old Rosemont Cemetery. Visitation will be 10 a.m. until service time on Saturday. The family would like to thank special friends, Margaret Burrell and Dennis Hester for all their help over the years, the staff at Mt. Carmel Assisted Living and Amberwood Health and Rehab.
