Joyce S. (Donaldson) Stanton

Joyce S. (Dondaldson) Stanton, 85, of Lebanon, passed away Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at St. Vincent Hospice in Indianapolis. She was born in Niles, Michigan on June 11, 1932, the daughter of the late Bert S. Donaldson and Helene (Scalla) Donaldson. In 1951, Joyce graduated from Springdale High School in Arkansas. After high school Joyce was a bookkeeper for numerous automobile dealerships. She was active in her neighborhood and community. She had a warm heart, strong protestant faith, was very caring and known for her great humor. Survivors include her brothers,Ted Donaldson of Morro Bay, California, Charles "Chuck" Donaldson of Franklin, Tennessee, Bob (Cherie) Donaldson of Lizton, Indiana; nieces, Lisa, Kelly, Cari, Lynn; nephews: Bert, Brett, Bruce; several great nieces and nephews and numerous great-great-nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Joyce was preceded in death by one brother, Bert Donaldson, and his wife, Norma; sister-in-law, Kathy Donaldson, and nephew, Bren Donaldson. Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, May 21, 2018, at Myers Mortuary, 1502 North Lebanon Street, in Lebanon, Indiana with Rev. Christopher Beasley, Rector officiating. Visitation will be held on Monday, May 21, from noon until the time of the service at the funeral home in Lebanon. Interment will follow at the Oak Hill Cemetery in Lebanon.
