Rhonda Lea Reeves

Don't be sad because it's over. Be glad because it happened. From cradle February 1st, 1957, El Dorado, Ark. to grave May 14th, 2018, Little Rock, Ark., Rhonda Lea Reeves loved the Lord and led a blessed spiritual journey. She was a mom, a daughter, a sister, a friend, a singer, an executive assistant to bankers, a mentor to children, a golfer, and ultimately an integral part of the correction of Medicine. It is said that birds don't fly so much as they ride the wind, fish don't swim so much as they are carried by the current. Everything that happens to us is due to connections to which we are often unaware. Rhonda found a way to ride the wave of life. Her life and work touched many. Though she leaves behind a bereaved family, she also leaves a legacy. She is preceded in death by her beloved mother and father, Mary Evelyn and Buren Lamar Lout of El Dorado. Those left to cherish her memory are her son and his wife, Jason and Lindsey Reeves of Little Rock and two brothers and their wives, David and Pam Lout of El Dorado and Larry and Cheri Lout of Oklahoma City. She also leaves behind two precious grandchildren, Oliver Gene Reeves and Audrey Evelyn Reeves, as well as many extended family, lifelong friend Martha Sue Bryant and life partner. Emotions permeate this moment. It is labor to feel them and a labor to express them. But all of this emotion is worth it- and so much the better than not feeling. Rhonda was an integral part of the inception of the International Cellular Medicine Society, the Institutional Review Board of which provides documentation and guidance of the Cellular Medicine therapies that are sweeping the globe. She was a strong proponent that the answer to disease is not necessarily found in the bottom of a pill bottle or at the tip of a scalpel blade, it is contained in our God given immune system, and easily and safely accessible to us. Rhonda's last chapter in her life was dedicated to this knowledge and teaching. And through her efforts, Arkansas became the first state in the U.S. to provide a pilot program offering regenerative cellular therapies to teachers and employees. She had a favorite saying about time being our most precious commodity-Time is free, but it is priceless. You can't own it, but you can use it. You can't keep it, but you can spend it. How you spend your time is a much more important decision than how you spend your money. And once you've lost it, you can never get it back, choose wisely-and so she did. Rhonda will be missed, but through her efforts toward the correction of Medicine, she will never be forgotten. A memorial ceremony to celebrate her life will be held in El Dorado, at 11 a.m. Friday May 25th, 2018 at Young's Funeral Directors and Rhonda will be interned with her parents in a private ceremony immediately following the memorial service. The family will receive friends an hour prior to services. In lieu of flowers, memorials are asked to be referred to the ICMS (International Cellular Medicine Society) of Las Vegas, Nevada, which is a 501(c)(3) non-profit entity with a Tax-ID # 75-2985553.
