Minnie "Ellen" Bennett Arbogast

Minnie "Ellen" Bennett Arbogast, 87, of Phoenix, Arizona, formerly of Little Rock, died peacefully in her sleep on 5/20/18. She is preceded in death by her husband LCDR James B. Arbogast US Navy Ret, and her parents Clarence E. Bennett and Zola Torrance Bennett. She is survived by her son Robin (Teresa) Arbogast of Little Rock, her daughter Zola "Sissy" Arbogast of Phoenix, her Grandson Sean (Amanda) Arbogast of Sherwood, 5 brothers and 2 sisters. Brothers: E.B. "Buster" (Mary) Bennett, Jackie (Bernice) Bennett, Gene (Darlene) Bennett all of Little Rock, C.E. "Jr"(Rovilla) Bennett of Morrilton and Gary (Lynn) Bennett of Spring, Texas. Sisters: Melba Jones (Dorman) Spears, and Donna (Bob) Overby, both of Little Rock. She is survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and lifelong friends. Ellen was born and raised in the Landmark community. She was a former member of Landmark Baptist Church. She was a US Navy veteran and a nurse. She met and married her husband in 1956. They eventually made their home in LR in 1965 where she remained until they retired to Phoenix, Ariz., in 1996. A memorial service is planned for Saturday June 2nd at 10:00 AM at Landmark Baptist Church.on Arch St.
