Robert Brandon Holitik, 50, died Monday, May 28, at his home in Little Rock. He leaves behind his life's love, Megan E. Wooster, his daughter, Katherine Anne Holitik, and his son, Robert Brandon Holitik Jr. He is survived by his parents, Dr. and Mrs. George F. Holitik, and Mrs. Cornelia Brandon Ellingson of Little Rock, siblings, Christopher W. Holitik of Fayetteville, Kay Holitik Maris and Melissa Holitik Plato of Little Rock, and W. Andrew Holitik of Chicago, as well as a number of nieces and nephews. Born and raised in Little Rock, Mr. Holitik attended Marion Military Academy, and was a graduate of Little Rock Central High. His love for the Natural State drew him to the University of Arkansas, where he received his bachelors degree in communications, and a law degree from the University of Arkansas School of Law. His solid beliefs in the legal system and his desire to help those in need led him to multiple fields as a general practitioner. His affinity for family law, and class action lawsuits evolved into a partnership with the firm of Hale, Holitik, and Young in Marion, Arkansas. A devoted friend, and loving father, Robert found joy in exploring the beauty of nature, which he shared with and passed on to his children. Conservation of the wetlands, Ducks Unlimited, and animal rescue were just a few of the many causes he embraced and supported. His positivity and kindness will be remembered and missed by all who knew him. A celebration of Robert's life will be held at Ruebel Funeral Home on Saturday, June 2, 2018 at 3 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to The Robert Holitik Memorial Education Fund at Bank of Little Rock, 200 N.
