Edward Howard Hamilton

Edward Howard Hamilton, 93, of Clinton, rejoined his wife of 68 years on October 31, 2018. Born September 30, 1925 in Conway, Arkansas to the late Oscar William and Elsie Irene Fisher Hamilton. Edward served in the United States Navy as a Pharmacist Mate Third Class in San Diego, California, a World War II Veteran, a park attendant for the Corps of Engineers and a World Class Fisherman. He was married to the love of his life; Juanita Hamilton, they were married for 68 years and had seven children together. Edward was a loving man and taught his family many valuable lessons. Left to cherish his memory are his children, John Hamilton and wife Rose, Alice Chambers and husband Larry, Ray Hamilton and partner Cyndie Adams, Kay Lewis and husband Ladoy, Lynnette Jones and husband Michael, Susan DeNicolo; siblings, Barbara Coggins, Linda Charles; 12 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, friends and other family members. Edward is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Juanita Lorene James Hamilton; one son, Joseph Hamilton; siblings, Walter (Dub) Hamilton, Frances King, Martha Hall, Kathryn Hyatt. Visitation will be held Friday, November 2, 2018, 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Clinton Funeral Service Chapel. A graveside service will be held Saturday, November 3, 2018, 2 p.m. at the Wolverton Mountain Cemetery with Brother Darrell Black officiating. Pallbearers are: Alex DeNicolo, Kevin DeNicolo, Johnny Jones, Daniel Hamilton. Arrangements entrusted to Clinton Funeral Service.
