Nancy Jane McBryde

Nancy Jane McBryde, 77, of Palmyra, went to be with the Lord on October 30, 2018 peacefully at home surrounded by her family. She was born February 24, 1941 in Glendale to the late James Leroy (Roy) Chambers and Esther Annette Williams Chambers. She was preceded in death by her sister, Jamie Ingram and her brother, Charles Chambers. She married her high school sweetheart on December 10, 1960. She is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Joe Allen McBryde; a son, Jeffrey Allen (Renee") McBryde of Palmyra; two daughters, M'Leah Nan (Bobby) Donaldson and Melanie Jane (Brad) Bainter, all of Benton; six grandchildren, Megan Elizabeth (Seth) Hinkson, Robert "Austin" Donaldson, Jacob Allen McBryde, Mallory Grace Donaldson, Lauren Hope Bainter and Brandon "Matthew" Bainter; and two great-grandchildren, Luke Brenden Hinkson and Elijah Joe Hinkson. She was a long-time member of Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church. She loved spending hours working in her yard and her flowers were always beautiful. She never met a stranger and loved her SWEETS!! She was a retired school bus driver, wife mother and homemaker. A celebration of Nancy's life will be held Sunday, November 4, 2018 at Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church in Palmyra with Bro. John Marlar and Bro. Carlin Gray officiating. Visitation will begin at 2:00PM with the service to follow at 3:00PM. Burial at Shady Grove Cemetery. In honor of her life, memorials can be made to Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church.
