Ann Nell "Memaw" Scarbrough Terrell, 73, of White Hall, went to be with Jesus on Friday, November 2, 2018 in Jonesboro. She was born September 30, 1945 in West Memphis, daughter of Hester and Nell Stallings Scarbrough. Mrs. Terrell was reared and received her early education in Marked Tree, graduating from Marked Tree High School. She earned her Bachelor's Degree in Education from Arkansas State University. She was a beloved teacher for 43 years, teaching 40 years at Coleman Elementary School in the Watson Chapel School District. She was known for teaching and impacting every student in the school. She went above and beyond to reach and love her students. Coleman Elementary became home and family. Mrs. Terrell was an active member of Watson Chapel Baptist Church. She loved serving in every way. She was in charge of the Evergreen ministry. She went on youth trips for years. She ministered to the widows and shut-ins. She was intentional in loving people and showing the love of Jesus to all. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Jody Scarbrough. Survivors include her husband of 53 years, Ronni Terrell, whom she married August 13, 1965 in Marked Tree; son, Brent Terrell (Jamie) of White Hall; daughter, Brenna Anthony (Kevin) of Jonesboro; and four grandchildren, Austin Terrell, Carsen Terrell, Anna Beth Anthony and Molly Kate Anthony. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, November 6, 2018 at Watson Chapel Baptist Church with Reverend Todd Howard officiating. A graveside service will follow at 3:30 p.m. at Marked Tree Cemetery in Marked Tree, Arkansas. Visitation will be Monday evening from 5-7 p.m. at Watson Chapel Baptist Church.
